Williams Family Cemetery, Lamar County, Texas

LOCATION: Williams Family Cemetery is located in the southeast quadrant of the county. It should not be confused with the Williams B Cemetery on Sheb Williams Ranch in the northwest quadrant. It is in Block 56 of the Lamar County Road Map produced by American Drafting and Services revised December 1993.

DIRECTIONS: From Highway 19/24 South, turn east on CR 14650. Go approximately 1 mile to the intersection with CR 14655. Turn south and proceed about 2 miles until the road runs out. There is only one marker and all that is legible on the marker is the letter P. The marker is in on the bank of Hickory Creek.

OLDEST KNOWN BURIAL: No names or dates were visible on the one remaining headstones.

NUMBER OF GRAVES: There is only 1 known grave in the cemetery. (July 2017)

SIGNS/MARKERS: There is not a sign for the cemetery.

LAST ENUMERATION: Williams Family Cemetery was first visited by Richard Duncan.

ADD'L INFORMATION: From the records of Richard Duncan: This one headstone is south of the Price (Glory) Cemetery and may be a member of the Price family.
