LOCATION: Springhill Black Cemetery is located in the northeast quadrant of the county in the community of Medill north of Farm Market Road 2648. It is on County Road 45430 in Block 18 of the Lamar County Road Map produced by American Drafting and Services revised December 1993.

DIRECTIONS: The cemetery is on Farm Market Road 2648 in the Medill Community about 7.25 miles from the intersection of Highway 271 and Farm Market Road 2648. It is immediately north 6/10 of a mile behind the Springhill Cemetery.

OLDEST KNOWN BURIAL: The oldest known grave is that of Mary J. Robbins who died 11 Oct 1890.

NUMBER OF GRAVES: There are 100 known graves in the cemetery and there is much evidence of many unmarked graves. (July 2017)

SIGNS/MARKERS: There is not a state highway marker for the cemetery.
Historic Texas Cemetery: No Texas Historical Commission Marker: No

LAST ENUMERATION: The cemetery was recorded 28 Mar 1993 by Ron Brothers.
