LOCATION: Skidmore Cemetery #3 is probably in Block 34 of the Lamar County Road Map produced by American Drafting and Services revised December 1993. It has not been located by the compiler.

NUMBER OF GRAVES: There are 6 known graves in the cemetery. (July 2017)
SIGNS/MARKERS: There is not a sign for the cemetery.
LAST ENUMERATION: Unknown.
ADD'L INFORMATION: From the records of Elizabeth Booth: "One Skidmore family was living in Sylvan community of Lamar County. An epidemic of measles is said to have erased the entire family of 8 or 10 people. They are buried off Highway 82 east on Farm Market Road 2121, in a pasture just beyond the railroad tracks on the Johnson farm. This farm once belonged to the Skidmores. Mrs. Johnson could furnish no names nor dates."
