Heavenly Hills Gardens Cemetery, Lamar County, Texas
LOCATION: Heavenly Hills Gardens Cemetery is a Black cemetery located northwest of Meadowbrook Cemetery on Farm Market Road 1508, on Airport (Cox Field) Road. It is in Block 41 of the Lamar County Road Map produced by American Drafting and Services revised December 1993. The sign at the entrance identifies this as Heavenly Acres.
DIRECTIONS: From the intersection of Hwy 271 South and Loop 286 southeast, take Hwy 271 easterly for 1.6 miles to the intersection with FM 1508 (Airport Road). Take FM 1508 northeasterly for 5/10 miles. The cemetery is on the right and easy to miss. Look for the small pavillion near the rear of the cemetery.

OLDEST KNOWN BURIAL: The oldest inscribed grave is that of Willie Nell Porter who died 3 Mar. 1990.
NUMBER OF GRAVES: There are at least 8 graves in this newly organized burial ground. (July 2017)
SIGNS/MARKERS: There is a sign for the cemetery.
LAST ENUMERATION: Cemetery was recorded 2 Apr 2009 by Mary Hall Ferguson.
