East Post Oak Cemetery, Lamar County, Texas
LOCATION: East Post Oak Cemetery is located in the northeast quadrant of the county. It is in Block 27 of the Lamar County Road Map produced by American Drafting and services revised December 1993.
DIRECTIONS: The cemetery is about 5 1/2 miles from Blossom in the Post Oak community on Farm Market 1502.
GPS COORDINATES: 33° 42' 53.9958" N, 95° 19' 22.7676" W

OLDEST KNOWN BURIAL: The oldest inscribed grave is that of Tama Jane Lee who died 26 Nov 1898.
NUMBER OF GRAVES: There are 564 known graves in the cemetery. (July 2017)
SIGNS/MARKERS: There is a state highway marker for the cemetery.
LAST ENUMERATION: Cemetery was revisited by Lawrence and Sue Dale on 25 Mar 2014.
ADD'L INFORMATION: Johnie Lee, Rt. 1, Detroit, TX., 75436, has been researching the cemetery for many years and has published a book, It Happened In Post Oak, that has much more information on the families buried there than is contained in these records.
