| Notes Funeral Home Record; Aug 30, 2025; Gloria Charlene Bowden, age 80, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on August 30, 2025 surrounded by love. Known for her kindness, warmth, and unwavering devotion to her family, she touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love and compassion will continue to live on through the generations she so deeply cherished. Gloria was born on August 3, 1945 to Charles and Ora Cauley. She married Jerry Bowden on June 19, 1964. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Wesley Bowden, granddaughter Kristina Bowden, brother Ronnie Cauley and sister Ora Mae Cauley, Survivors include her husband of 61 years Jerry Bowden, daughters Deana Tillett and husband David, Sharla Jones and husband Richard, 5 grandchildren- Joshua Bowden, Dusty Felts, Mellissa Jones, Matthew Tillett and Jennifer Jones. 5 great grandchildren Levi Jones, Emersyn Felts, Hudsyn Felts, Joanie Tillett and Ryder Hayden, Sister, Stella Flick and brother Doug Cauley. She also leaves behind nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family who will cherish her memory forever. Pallbearers will be Joshua Bowden, Matthew Tillett, Jamie Flick and Brandon Flick. Though our hearts ache, we find comfort in the countless memories she left behind. We will miss her dearly, but her love will forever be our guiding light. Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2nd at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Cauley officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Private burial will be made in Restland Cemetery at Roxton. |
