| Notes Funeral Home Record; June 8, 2025; Winnie Jewel Graves Cooper Brown departed this earthly life peacefully at home on June 8, 2025. Winnie was born April 29, 1938 in Lamar county to the parentage of Rosa Jones Graves and Ralph Graves, Sr. She attended school at Gibbons High and a graduate of Paris Junior College. She married Earl Cooper in 1956 & Luther Brown, Jr. in 1964. She worked for PISD (6 years), Texas Dept. of Human Resources (15 years) and retired from the Texas Workforce Commission in 2000. She is loved by 9 children: Betty Cooper, Rosa Frierson, Royce Cooper (Tabatha), Dina Cooper, Ralph Brown, Riley Brown, Karen Young, Billy Brown and Pamela Brown. Cherished by 22 grandkids, and some nieces and nephews. Preceeded in death by her parents, husband, Luther Borwn, twin sons, Riley & Ralph, brother, Ralph Graves, Jr. and grandchildren, Taylor Young and Corey Cooper. |
