LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, Sept. 10, 1980: COOPER - Johnny Lewis Todd, 78, of Pecan Gap d died Tuesday morning at his home. Funeral services are scheduled for 4 p.m. today in the Delta Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tim Mabe of Pecan Gap ofliciating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Honey Grove.
Mr. Todd was born May 2, 1902 in Fannin County, a son of Harry and Elizabeth Ridinger Todd. He had been a resident of Pecan Gap for most of his life and was a retired Pecan Gap City employee. Survivors include two sons, Johnny D. Todd of Paris and Edward F.
Todd of Phoenix, Ariz.; three brothers, Grady Todd of Paris, Lee Todd of Hopewell and Walter Todd of Ladonia; three sisters, Ella Mae May and Edith Franks, both of Paris and Ruth Kennedy of Belair, Ohio; and four grandchildren. A brother, Edgar Todd, preceded him in death. Pallbearers will include Marshall May, ConnieFranks, Gene Todd, Sonny Todd, Glen Todd; and Jimmy Parish.
