THE LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, Aug. 25, 1988: Willie Marie Harwell Edmondson Collins Bartlett, Rt. 2, Avery, died Thursday, Aug. 18, at St. Joseph's Hospital. Services were held Sunday, Aug. 21, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Meadowbrook Cemetery. Mrs. Bartlett was born Aug. 12, 1904, in Gainesville, a daughter of William Madison and Minnie McDaniel Harwell. She married James Arthur (Bob) Edmondson in 1931, he died in 1959. She then married harry Collins in 1969, he died in 1974. She then married Dee Bartlett in 1980. She worked for Hanks Dairy Bar during the 1950's and 1960's and was a member of the Gravel Hill Baptist Church in Red River County. Surviving are her husband; five daughters, Mrs. Bill (Bobbie) Stephens of Grand Prairie, Mrs. Buddy (Joan) Ruthart of Paris, Mrs. John (Patsy) Bowman of Sulphur Springs, Elsie Edmondson of Quinto, Va., and Sue Phillips of Quinton; one brother, Earnest Harwell of Waldron, Ark.; three sisters, Mary Bearden of Benton, Ark, Betty Lassiter of Benton and Elsie Nelson of Waldron; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
