THE LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, Aug. 14, 1969: Eldon Bills of 10p - 19th. S.W. was dead on arrival at a Paris Hospital of natural causes, Monday, August 11, 1969. He was a retired civil services employee. Born at Emberson, September 20, 1900, he was the son of William H. and Anna Hester Bills, and lived all but about 22 years here. Services were held Monday, August 12, at 3 p.m. with Leverett and Steele Funeral Home having charge of the arrangements. Burial was made in Meadowbrook Cemetery. Mr. Bills leaves his wife, the former Mamie Keesling, whom he married in November 12, 1926. Other survivors include a nephew, Jack Hall of Kingman, Arizona, and a cousin Byron Richey of Paris.
