| Notes Information from Funeral Home: Charles Anthony Black, 75, of Roxton, TX, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at Birchwood Manor in Cooper, TX. Cremation is under the care and direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home. Inurnment will be made at a later date in Restland Cemetery at Cunningham. Charles, the son of Dennis Black & Louise Wilson Black, was born May 1, 1949, in Deport, TX. He graduated from Cunningham High School and joined the United States Army where he served a number of years before his honorable discharge. His career as a self-employed carpet installer spanned many years before his retirement. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Brian Black, and a brother, Stevie Black. Survivors include his granddaughter, Ivy Morgan, five siblings, Dean Black & wife Carolyn, Nita Jaco & husband David, Robert Black, Melinda Jones, and Rickey Black along with numerous nieces & nephews and a host of friends. |
