Information from Funeral Home: Steve Beamon, 78, of Paris entered eternal rest on May 18, 2024, at Paris Regional Medical Center. Funeral services are set for 10:30 AM Saturday, May 25, 2024, at DFW National Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 PM - 4 PM Friday, May 24th at Maxey Funeral Home. Steve Mack Beamon, the oldest of seven children, was born to the late Katie M. Cooper-Beamon, Jan. 10, 1946 in Kanawha TX. Steve attended and graduated from Red River Detroit Public School District. He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Shona Norwood; a sister and two brothers, Larry Beamon and Jimmie Cooper. Steve leaves to cherish his memories two daughters, Lisa Baker Beamon of Sacramento CA and Crystal Washington of Denison, TX; a son, Steven Dabbs, Dallas; three brothers, Harold Cooper (Kimberly) and Terry Cooper of Dallas and Stanley Cooper of Paris; bonus brother, Lawrence Beamon, Sherman; sister, Judy C. Cooper, DeSoto TX; sister-in-law, Mary Cooper of Arlington, TX; ten grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
