| Notes THE PARIS NEWS-Oct,11,1991: Willie Buckles, 94, 651 W. Cooper St., Cooper, died Monday. Oct. 7, at Birchwood Manor Nursing Home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, in the New Zion Baptist Church in Cooper with the Rev. Richard Preston officiating. Maxey Funeral Home will make burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. Mr. Buckles was born July 6, 1894, in Centerville, Miss., a son of Dulan and Lillie Green Buckles. He was a Baptist and attended Mississippi schools. Surviving are nine grandchildren, Howard Robinson, R.C. Robinson, and Marshall Robinson, Charles Robinson, all of Kansas City, Mo., Alfonso Robinson of Olathe, Kan., Janie Robinson of Kansas City, Dorothy Robinson of Belton, Mo., Minnie Logan of Monroe, La and Geraldine Robinson of Mangham, La. |
