THE PARIS NEWS-May 9,1991: DEPORT - William F. Biddle, 88, of Deport Nursing Home died Monday, May 6, in St. Joseph's Hospital. Services were scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, May 9, in Rosewood Chapel in Big Springs with the Rev. Arnold Tonn and the Rev. William Brown officiating. Burial was to be in Hillside Memorial Gardens in Snyer under the direction of Nalley Pickle Welch Funeral Home. Grant Funeral Home had charge of local arrangements. Mr. Biddle was born Dec. 29, 1902, in Rosston, Ark. He had owned and operated a sawmill and also farmed in Rosston for many years. He had lived in Big Spring for 11 years before moving to Deport in November 1990. Surviving are two sons, Billy Biddle of Big Spring and Glen Biddle of Pattonville; two daughters, Bonnie Fraley of Big Spring and Bettye Howard of Bedford; a brother, Quay Biddle of Prescott, Ariz., a sister, Thelma Tomblin of League City; 23 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
