| Notes THE PARIS NEWS-May 20,1991: COOPER — Lela Alma Tramel, 87, of Cooper died Friday, May 17, at Birchwood Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services were conducted at 4 p.m., Saturday, May 18, at the Delta Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. Mrs. Tramel was born Sept. 11, 1903, in Delta Country, a daughter of John B. and Ida Robinson Meadlin. She married Walter Tramel on Dec. 24, 1922. He died April 29, 1979. Surviving are two sons, Walter M. Tramel of Cooper and Wayne W. Tramel of San Antonio; a daughter, Mertis Black of Dallas; a sister, Elizabeth Matney of Berryville, Ark.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. |
