Information from Funeral Home: Leroy Briand Baker III, was born Jan 22, 1963 and passed away Feb 24, 2024. He was a happy-go-lucky soul and radiated love and happiness wherever life took him. He had a passionate love for his friends and family, especially his greatest joys in life, his two daughters, Bethany and Jami. Briand was a free spirit who always had a big smile on his face and a dog by his side. He was a wonderful storyteller and his funny stories never disappointed his audience. He was clever and full of knowledge gained through all of his life experiences. He made an impact on many lives and helped raise generations of survivors and thrivers with his tremendous heart. He will be dearly missed by his loved ones and forever remembered for his kind heart and intense loyalty. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Willis Louis and Dovie Lee Johnson, Ethel and LB Baker; his parents, Virgina "Tribo" Ruthart and Leroy Briand Baker “Daddy Roy Baker”; his aunt, Faye Watkins; uncle, Wayne Johnson; cousins, Dennis Watkins and Mike Sorrels. He is survived by his two daughters, Bethany McGuyer Williams and husband Michael, and Jami Chrystine Comstock; brother, Russell Ruthart; sisters, Shonda Six and husband Wilson, Carissa Hardeman and husband Adrian; grandchildren, Chloe McGuyer, Roy Briand Baker Blacketer, Rebel Blaze Blacketer; and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family.
