| Notes Mrs. Mollie Bailey, known as Grandma Bailey, died Wed. (Apr.1?) at the home of her son, Philip Bailey, in Byrdtown community, south of Blossom. She had lived in the county several years and leaves a large family of children. Her husband died several years ago. The funeral service was held at 3 o’clock Thursday afternoon at the Post Oak Cemetery, northeast of Blossom & was conducted by the Rev. H.N. Simmons, of Shady Grove, assisted by the Rev. Edge, the Baptist county missionary. (4/7/1925) Research indicates that Dollie's maiden name is Speegle. See son Philip Bailey record. |
