Information from Funeral Home: William D. Brown was born in Lamar County, TX on Mar. 11, 1914 to parents, William and Georgia (Wilson) Brown. He was educated in Lamar County Schools. He is survived by a son, Tommy Gene Brown, Chicago IL, a step-son, Mark Jr. Ellis, Chicago, IL; daughters, Mrs. Ora Henderson, Arthur City TX, Miss Elvera Ellis, Hugo OK; brothers, Roosevelt Ellis and John Ellis of Arthur City, Luther Brown, Trenton TX, Tommy Brown, Rt. 6, Paris and Hodge Ellis, Jackson, MI; Sisters, Mrs. Lillian Patterson, Lubbock, Mrs. Mary Steward, Paris; also Thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Maxey Funeral Home in charge.
