THE PARIS NEWS, Feb. 4, 2015: "Rebecca Kay Bridgers, 62, of Paris passed away Monday, February 2, 2015 in Paris Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, February 5, 2015 in the County Line Cemetery near Dangerfield. Family will receive friends from 7:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home. She was born on November 4, 1952 in McAllen, Texas a daughter of Earnest and Lillie Kate Coleman Coomer. Rebecca was a full time homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Everyone who knew her knew that she was a people person never meeting a stranger. She enjoyed being on the computer playing games and bingo. She loved cooking and always had plenty to share with others. On April 24, 1970 she married Bobby L. Bridgers in Paris, Texas. He survives. Other survivors include children Rebecca Darlene Worthy, Bobby Dwayne Bridgers, and Stacy Renia Jones and husband Anthony; grandchildren Maverick Jones, Katilyn Jones, Madisyn Spradlin, Zachary Spradlin; great granddaughter Ainsley Elizabeth Worden; sisters Lillie Faye Whitehurst and Mary Ann Hogan. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Johnny Coomer and Richard Coomer and a sister Betty Jo Harrell."
