| Notes THE PARIS NEWS-Feb. 17,2012: Gloria Jean Black, 65, of Paris, died Friday, Feb. 10,2012, at Paris Regional Medical Center. Funeral services have been scheduled for 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18, at New Salem Baptist Church with Kevin Powell officiating. Maxey Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. She was born in Terrell on Aug. 21,1946, to the late Delbert and Irene King. She was employed at Chisum Independent School District for 15 years and attended Mount Carmel Baptist Church Reeds Prairie. She was preceded in death by a grand-daughter, Leia Chanel Dangerfield. She is survived by her husband, O.C. Black; daughters, Annette King Reed and husband , Kenneth Reed, of Dallas, Doris Black and husband Robert Stewart, also of Dallas, Gwendolyn Black of Paris; Goddaughter, Adresha Black of Paris; brothers, Johnny Brown and Jessie Brown of Paris and Robert King of Terrell; grandchildren, Raven Dangerfield, Javonye Reed, Darsheikque Coleman, Serenity Tolbert and Robert Stewart III. |
