Notes
Information from Clarksville Funeral Home: Charles Mack Brannan, age 84, of Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at Paris Regional Medical Center.
Mack was born February 6, 1934, in Clarksville to Charles Calvin and Beatrice Cornett Brannan. Mack was an avid fisherman, enjoyed hunting, and he loved playing poker. Most of all, he loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mack was a member of the First Baptist Church and confided in Rev. James Brown as a preacher and friend. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Regina Brannan; and his brother James Travis "Jimmy" Brannan.
There will be no formal visitation.
Graveside services are set for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 22, 2018, at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. James Brown officiating. Services are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers are Gary Wester, Johnny Jamison, Danny Wester, Jerry Roberts, Roy Maye, Billy Mitchell, Perry O'Brian, Don Humphrey and Mack Humphrey. Honorary Pallbearers are Austin Stansbury and Troy Jenkins.
Survivors include his son, Charles C. Brannan and fiancée Michelle Harris of Detroit; his daughter, Angie Potts and husband, Tony of Clarksville; 3 grandchildren, Jared Brannan and fiancée Neesha Smith of Detroit, Ty Castaneda of Clarksville and Ronnie Potts of Clarksville; 2 great grandchildren, Kayden and Jamie Lynn Brannan ; 1 great granddaughter on the way; and close friends Gary Wester and wife Sandy, Johnny Jamison and Jill Brannan.
