| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Jan. 11, 2018: “James “Jim” Bentley, 63 of Paris, passed away Tuesday, January 09, 2018. A memorial service has been set for Saturday, January 13, 2018, at 4:00 P.M. at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Jacob Rose officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. He was born on March 10, 1954, in Flint, Michigan to Ernest and Edith Horton Bentley. He married Mary Coleman on June 7, 1988, in Paris. He is survived by his wife of 29 years; children, Joseph Coleman and wife Amy, Jessica Bentley and boyfriend Billy Holland; grandchildren, Montana, Emma, Madison and Payton Coleman, Hazel Holland; brother, Mike Bentley; sisters, Linda Herman and husband Roy; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ernie Bentley, Gary Bentley, John Bentley and Bill Bentley; sisters, Barb Ballard, Janet Filkins, and Gladys Myers.
