| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Jan 26, 2023: "Martha (Marty) Clyde Tomlinson, 85, of Paris, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2023. Memorial services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, 2023, at First United Methodist Church in Paris, Texas, with Pastor Kathryn Strempke officiating. Marty was born in San Antonio, Texas, on July 9, 1937, to Clyde Owen and Italia Mae (Ballaro) Stovall. They preceded her in death. Marty retired from State Farm Insurance. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Paris, and Life Member of First Christian Church in Garland, Texas. Marty enjoyed singing in the choir and she loved to dance. Her favorite thing in life was to be surrounded by her family and many friends. Survivors include her son; Steve Reich and Vickie Moore of Oak Point, Texas; daughter, Shari and husband, Terry Torbet of Plano, Texas; grandson, Brandon Reich of Rowlett, Texas; sister, Dotti Walker of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; cousins, Margaret Sutherland and Luis Garza of Honey Grove, Texas, and her boyfriend, Sid Underwood of Paris. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church Paris. Online condolences may be made at deltafuneralhome.com. Services entrusted to Delta Funeral Home." |
