| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Sept 23, 1985: "Jess W. Billingsley, Medical Plaza Nursing Home died Sunday, Sept 22 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 1 pm. Tuesday, Sept 24 at Eddy Cemetery in Eddy, TX. Gene Roden’s Sons, Directors of Funerals has charge of arrangements. Mr. Billingsley was born Feb 14, 1917 in Roxton, a son of William Franklin (Frank) and Della Agness Camster Billingsley. He and his brother, the late Hunter Billingsley owned and operated a restaurant and night club in Oklahoma for 15 years retiring in 1970. Surviving are a son, Glenn Billingsley of Paris and a sister, Evelyn Pickens of Paris. He was preceded in death by his wife and a daughter in 1965." |
