THE PARIS NEWS, October 15, 1987, p. 2: "Lillian Bean. Lillian Bean, 3315 Lamar Ave., died Wedneday, Oct. 14, at McCuistion Regional Medical Center. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 16, at the Laureland Funeral Home in Dallas, with the Rev. Ron Byers of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Blossom officiating. She was born April 13, 1908, in Ennis, Texas, a daughter of Fulton E. Deavers and Mary Roscow Deavers. She married Luther R. Bean on April 4, 1953. He died Dec. 23, 1978. She was employed by the Egan Printing Co. and Williams Printing Co. in Dallas for a number of years until she retired in 1976. She was a member of the Eastern Star in Dallas and the Sunset Garden Club. She had resided in Paris since 1983. Survivors include two sisters, Ovilla Rabe of Casper, Wyo., and Ruby Lee White of Casper; a granddaughter, Barbara Bierman of Dallas; a grandson, Robert Ehrhardt of Dallas; a stepson, Richard Bean of Houston; and several nieces and nephews, including Ron and Phyllis Byers of Paris and Gary Byers of Paris. She was preceded in death by a daughter Betty Ehrhardt, on Sept. 2, 1973, and grandson, William (Billy) Ehrhardt, on Dec. 19, 1973. The family will be at the Ron Byers residence, 3315 Lamar Ave."
