THE PARIS NEWS, August 7, 2015: "June Chumbley Barber, 78 of Reno, passed away at her home, with family close beside her, on Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2015. Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled services for 3:30 p.m. on Saturday at Lifeline Worship Center in Reno, with the Rev. Larry Young and the Rev. Glen Latimer officiating. Burial will follow in Knights of Honor Cemetery in Blossom. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mrs. Barber was born on April 1, 1937, in Lamar County, to T.W. Brewer and Lona Abby Weddle Brewer. She graduated from Blossom High School. Mrs. Barber had been a proud member of Lifeline Worship Center for over 15 years. Some of her favorite pastimes were reading, crocheting and cooking. Mrs. Barber was true and faithful Christian lady, who was a great mother, nanny, sister, aunt and friend to all. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Coy Chumbley; a brother, Jerry Brewer; a sister, Judy Latimer; a granddaughter, Lola Barber; and a nephew, Larry Brewer. Survivors include her children, David Chumbley, Clint Chumbley, Cody Chumbley, Rachel McGhee and husband Larry, Jason Chumbley and wife Marti, and Charity Barber; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Morris Dee Brewer and wife Margie, Tommy Joe Brewer and Ted Brewer and wife Erna; two sisters, Josie McAfee and husband Mike, and Nancy Couch; along with numerous nieces, nephews and special friends, Letha Ford and Mary Scroggins. Casketbearers will be Tony Brewer, Robert Brewer, Andy Brewer, Casey Smith and Allan Gifford.
