THE PARIS NEWS, December 2, 2016: "Edith Mary-Barber died Nov. 26, 2016, at her home. Funeral services are set for Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016, at 1 p.m. at Rocky Ford Baptist Church with the Rev. Roscoe Williams officiating. Maxey Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 2, 2016, from 7-8 p.m. at Maxey Funeral Home. She was born Dec. 9, 1956, in Ben Franklin, Texas, to the late Tom and Luteria Epps-Williams. She is survived by her husband, Terry Barber; sons, Eric Williams, of San Diego, California, and Derick (Tsion) Williams, of San Antonio, Texas; daughters, Teniqua (Durell) Twitty, Natashia Barber, both of Paris, and Shawnta (Omar) Barber, of San Diego, California; brothers, Tommy Williams and Roscoe Williams, both of Cooper, Frankie Williams, of Pecan Gap, Arthur Williams, of Dallas and Darnell Williams, of Paris; sisters, Coretta Mixon and Margaret Butler, both of Cooper, Texas; 12 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Opal. She from Fannidel High School and was a member of Baptist Hill Baptist Church.” Submitted by Linda Broyles.
