THE PARIS NEWS, Jul 21, 1968: "Paris Tot Found Dead Saturday morning, according to the Paris Police Department. She was identified as Brenda Louise Battle, daughter of Mrs. Betty Rosalie Battle. The child was with her grandmother at 849-4th NW, when se was found dead at 2:54 a.m. Justice of the Peace, J.M. Cross witheld a verdict pending further medical examination. It appeared that the child, born prematurely May 24, had died of natural causes."
