THE PARIS NEWS, Oct 20, 1970: "Douglas D. Baker, 61 of 201 E. Fort Worth Stl, manager of the Texas Power & Light Company office here, died of illness, Tuesday about 3:20 a.m. in MCCuistion Hospital in Paris. He was born in Hill County, TX, Dec 24, 1908, son of A.N. and Dovie Jane (Ferrell) Baker. The funeral, Thursday at 2 p.m. will be held in First United Methodist Church, Delta Funeral Home to make burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Oma, four children; Morgan Baker, Farmersville, Kenny Baker, Cooper, Mrs. Larainel Smith, Ozark AR, and Mrs. Wyvonne Moody, Commerce, and a sister, Mrs. Artie Mae Richardson of Athens."
