| Notes Oct 14, 2016; Afton D. "Bill" Bailey, 79 of Paris, passed away Thursday, Oct 13, 2016 at Paris Regional Medical Center. Cremation was under the care and direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home. Mr. Bailey, the son of the Rev. Fred Afton Bailey and Jewell Fenter Bailey, was born June 25, 1937 in Wright City, OK. Following his service to our country in the U.S. Army, he worked on Mississippi River Boats as a pianist. With his degree in journalism, he worked for several Oklahoma Newspapers. His parents preceded him in death. Survivors include cousins, Al and Sue Ward of Wright City, OK, Bob and Betty Bailey of Wright City, OK and Joe Bearden of Oregon; his loving pet, toto, along with numerous other cousins and extended family. |
