She is preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents, Jack and Jean Thompson and Herald and Imogene Easton; and her paternal great-grandparents, Don and Faye Huff; and a uncle, Kingston Thompson. Kennedi is survived by her parents, Brittany Thompson and Joseph Higgins; sisters, Kaymbri Moon and Koastlyn Higgins; a brother, Knoxton Higgins; maternal grandparents, Lisa and Michael Shelton and Kevin and Shawna Thompson; paternal grandparents, Joe and Misty Stringfellow and Keith and Ginger Higgins; great-grandparents, William (Babe) Higgins and Nancy Higgins; great-great-grandmother, Dixie Stringfellow; aunts, Haley Thompson, Madison,Macey, and Raegen Cupit, Kenzie Thies; great-aunts, Debra Thompson and Diane and Willian Rickman; uncles, Blake and Kyle Thompson, Ashton Basham, Darrin and Brent Higgins, Jake and Josh Stringfellow; great-uncle, Keith and Kenda Thompson; and a host of other relatives.
