Information from Funeral Home: Lowell ‘Spud’ Guy Beard. February 19, 1955 - April 5, 2022. Lowell Guy Beard “Spud”, 67, of Paris, Texas went to be with our Lord and Savior and his beloved mother and father on April 5, 2022. Lowell was born February 19, 1955 to Wayne and Patricia Moody Beard of Maxey, Texas. He grew up in Maxey with his two brothers, Kenny and David Beard and his two sisters, Linda McDowell and Kim Beard. After the passing of his mother Patricia, Lowell was blessed with a loving stepmother, Karen Bonham Beard. Lowell attended Central Middle School in Sumner, Texas and graduated high school in 1973 from North Lamar. In 1998, Lowell met his best friend and the love of his life, Lynette Mancuse and after 5 years, they married in 2003 and the couple made their home in Paris. From this marriage Lowell gained two step-children, Brittany Schweer and Byron Brinson. Lowell also had another step-child from a previous relationship, Lane Doescher. Lowell enjoyed doing yard work; keeping his yard beautiful and green, carving wood and spending time with his wife and dog Daisy. Lowells parents, his sister, Linda and daughter-in-law, Shelina preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Lynette, his brothers, Kenny and David Beard; sister, Kim Beard; step-children,Brittany, Byron and Lane and eleven grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers are Kenny Beard, David Beard, Rodney Rossen and James Carol. “Spud” was loved by many friends and will be missed. The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
