THE PARIS NEWS, 31 Oct 1947, Friday, p. 7: “Ingram Services Set for Saturday - Funeral services for John Reginald Ingram of Roxton, who died at the Sanitarium of Paris Thursday night at 9:30, will be held Saturday morning at 9:30 o’clock at the Church of Christ at Roxton, with interment at Hillcrest Mausoleum in Dallas at 2 p.m. Saturday. These nephews will serve as pallbearers: J. B. Creed, Ingram Creed, Milton Ingram Jr., L. E. Ingram Jr., Joe Cregg and Ivan Fenner. Robert G. Cook, Church of Christ minister, will conduct the service. Mr. Ingram is survived by his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Ingram; two daughters, Miss Dorothy Ingram, Dallas, Miss Beth Ingram, Roxton; two sisters, Mrs. John Humphree, Houston, Mrs. Viola Creed, Roxton; and three brothers, B. M. Ingram and Dr. L. E. Ingram, Roxton, and M. S. Ingram, Richardson. Born in Texas Aug. 11, 1887, Mr. Ingram was the son of the late Lafayette and Ellen Maggard Ingram. He has been a member of the Church of Christ for 40 years.”
