THE PARIS NEWS, 21 Feb 2021: “Shirley Ann Bailey, 69, of Paris, passed away Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021, in her home. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m.Sunday, Feb. 21, 2021, in Maxey Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Robert Harmon will serve as eulogist. Condolences to the family may be sent to Maxey.” Submitted by Viola Broyles.

Information from Funeral Home: Shirley Ann Bailey, 69, of Paris passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 in her home. Funeral services are set for 2:00 pm Sunday, February 21, 2021 in Maxey Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Robert Harmon will serve as eulogist. Shirley Ann Bailey was born on November 1, 1951, to the parentage of Willie Floyd Walters and Emma Lee Fuller, both having preceded her in death. Shirley graduated from Paris High School, studied nursing at Paris Junior College, serving as a nurse for a short time. She is survived by her husband, Bruce Bailey, son, Carlos Williams and daughters, Lashona S. Walters Baty, all of Paris; step children, Crystal Lane, Michelle Tyson, and Stanley Watkins, and also eight grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
