THE PARIS NEWS, 17 Jun 2013: "Louis A. Benham, 92, of Paris, passed from this life Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at Paris Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 9, in Forest Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Mickey Kelley officiating. Louis was born Feb. 13, 1921, in the Caviness community of Lamar County, a daughter of Oliver T. and Emma J. Roby Kelley. She was of the Church of God faith. She married Montgomery G. Benham on Jan. 10, 1969, in Garland. He preceded her in death on Sept. 22, 1982. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews, including Lawana Smallwood of Paris. Named as honorary pallbearers are J. C. and Barbara Kelley, Chuck and Betty Hardy, Lawana Smallwood and Ricky Hicks. Friends may register in Louis’ Book of Memories at www.starrettfunerals.com."
