THE PARIS NEWS, Thursday, February, 27, 1941, p. 9: “BALLARD INFANT. The infant daughter, born to Mr. and Mrs. Archie C. Ballard, 32 S. 5th, Thursday at 2:30 a. m. and named Patsy Ruth, died at 8 a.m. Funeral service was set for 3 p.m. Thursday at Hopewell Cemetery, Brown-Roden Funeral Home having charge. The child’s parents, a brother and four grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Ballard and Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Utz, survive.”
