THE PARIS NEWS, June 21, 2019: “Carolyn Jeanette Barrios, 62, of Paris, died at 12:40 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at Paris Regional Medical Center. A graveside service is set for noon on Saturday, June 22, 2019, at Union Grove Cemetery, with Bro. Manuel Kilpatrick officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday evening at the funeral home. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements. Carolyn was born on Dec. 8, 1956, in Paris, to Talma Ray and Ethel Jeanette Nobles Cooper. She graduated from North Lamar High School and received her RN certification from Paris Junior College and specialized as a psychiatric nurse. Mrs. Barrios was attending Impact Church. Survivors include her son, Erick Barrios and Nikki Brown; three grandchildren, Kaitlin Frazier, Christeon Barrios and Esmeralda Barrios; her brother, Jeff Cooper; cousins, Debbie LaFoy and Tammy Kilpatrick and husband, Manuel; and numerous extended family.
