THE PARIS NEWS, April 12, 2019: “Aganetha ‘Neta’ Thiessen, 42, of Paris, went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, April 10, 2019. Funeral services have been set for Saturday, April 13, 2019, at 3 p.m., at Lighthouse Mission Church, with Pastor Dick Unrau officiating. Interment will follow at Tigertown Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home. Aganetha was born in Chihuahua, Mexico, on Jan. 1, 1977, to Cornelius and Anna Thiessen. She worked with her four brothers in a family owned business. She attended Sherman Bible Church in Sherman, Texas. She loved the Lord and served God with all her heart. Aganetha was involved in a children’s mission project in Mazatlan, which she was very passionate about. She also loved spending time with her family. Aganetha will be remembered most by her generous attitude, her never ending laughter and jokes and her love for fast cars and anything with speed. She is survived by her mother, Anna Thiessen; brothers, Cornelio, Franz, Jake and Johnny; sister, Anna; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Cornelius Thiessen. Serving as pallbearers will be, Cornelio Thiessen, Franz Thiessen, Jacob Thiessen, Johnny Thiessen, Abe Harms and Lennard Thiessen.
