| Notes Information from Funeral Home: Yvonne Phyllis Young Bowers, 90 of Paris, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023. A graveside service has been set for Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Highland Cemetery in Deport with Doug Phillips officiating. No visitation has been scheduled. Yvonne was born in Pattonville, Texas on November 29, 1932 to William Thomas and Mildred Phillips Young. She graduated from East Lamar High School. She spent two years in the United States Air Force. In 1952, she married Robert Lowell Bowers. She worked 15 years for Westinghouse, then worked at Uarco for 15 years and retired from there in 1993. She is survived by her children, Robert Lowell Bowers, Vicki Lynn Bowers; grandchildren, Eric Keaton, Monica Hagan, Bethany Bowers, Jillian Bowers; great-grandchildren, Hailey Reynolds, Mallory Keaton, Colton Hagan, Jaxon Hagan; 4 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Anna Beth Allen and husband Rodger, Melissa Lynn Phillips and husband Doug. Preceded in death by parents, brothers, Bob Thomas Young, Jon Quentin Young, Jimmy Joe Young; sisters, Theda Welden Young, Marcheta Bolton.
