THE PARIS NEWS, January 16, 2019: “Barbara Jean O’Dea Biggerstaff, 80, of Paris, passed away Sunday, Jan. 13, 2019, in Paris Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Friday, Jan. 18, 2019, in Meadowbrook Gardens with the Rev. Mike Fortenberry officiating. Family will receive family and friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home. Barbara was born on July 3, 1938, in Paris, a daughter of Don and Edna Clark O’Dea. She was a homemaker and affiliated with the Baptist Church. She married Freddie Martin Biggerstaff on Aug. 19, 1956, in Paris, He preceded her in death on May 2, 2004. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother Jimmy Don O’Dea. Barbara is survived by children, Brett Martin Biggerstaff, of Garland, Bruce Don Biggerstaff, of Paris and Tamara Beth Hanson, of Paris, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
