THE PARIS NEWS, Friday, November 24, 1961, p. 2: “3 DEATHS OCCUR IN NEGRO FAMILY HERE THIS WEEK. Three deaths, spanning four generations of a Negro family, occurred here this week in the Willie Butler home. 1067-2nd NE. Jimmie, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bizzell of Pecan Gap, born in his great-grandparents home Tuesday, died there about 30 minutes later, at 8 p.m. His mother, the former Juanita Johnson, passed away Thursday at 8:30 a.m. Death of her grandmother, Mrs. Pearl Butler, wife of Willie Butler, occurred, also on Thursday, at 6:10 p.m. Besides her husband, Mrs. Bizzell leaves these children: Johnny, Willie, Charles Ray, James Carl, Audria, Elma Lee, Martha Lee, Rosemary, Regina, Viola and Murland, all of Pecan Gap; her father, Bill Johnson, whose address was not available and her grandfathers, Willie Butler her and T. Montgomery, Idabel, Okla. Double funeral services for Mrs. Bizzell and her baby are arranged for 2 p.m. Sunday at Idabel, Okla. with burial there in Oak Grove Cemetery by Moody and Wortham Funeral Home of Paris. Moody & Wortham also have charge of arrangements for Mrs. Butler’s funeral, which were incomplete. Besides her husband, Willie, she leaves these children: Mrs. Emma Scott, Mrs. Dorothy May Booker and Sammy Frazier, all of Paris; a brother and two sisters: Grant Davis, Mrs. Janie Nolan and Mrs. Fannie Prutt, all of Idabel, Okla., and 12 grandchildren.
