| Notes Information from funeral home: Rosa Lee Turpin Tucker, 81, of Powderly passed away Wednesday November 26, 2014 at her home. Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home will conduct graveside services at 1:00 p.m. Saturday November 29, at Restland Cemetery in Roxton with Rev. Terry Paul Cunningham officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday 6-7 p.m. She was born December 15, 1932 in Arkansas a daughter of Harvey Dewey Turpin and Daisy Marie (White) Turpin. She married Leslie H. “Buddy” Tucker on Jan. 3, 1948 at Atlas, Texas. She was a housekeeper for Salvation Army until her health failed her. She was a homemaker and loved fishing and camping. She was a member of the Salvation Army. She was preceded in death by her father Harvey Turpin and mother Daisy Marie Turpin Ingram and brothers Dewey Turpin and J. C. Turpin. She is survived by children Leslie Tucker, Jr. and wife Kathy, Kathy Thompson and husband Billy; grandchildren, Richard Tucker and wife Cindy, Shane Tucker, Steve Tucker, Rosa Copeland and husband John, Holly Thompson; sister, Evalean Goley of Roanoke, Texas; great grandchildren, Dustin Womack, Dakota Womack, Jamie Womack, R.J. Tucker, Claudia Tucker, Jacob Pierce, Brandon Lester, Callie Tucker, Connor Tucker, and Colby Tucker. On the same stone with Leslie (Buddy) Tucker. |
