| Notes Information from funeral home: James Edward “Jimmy” Thoms, 41, of Paris, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013, at Paris Regional Medical Center. Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled services for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 18th, at First Baptist Church of Roxton with Rev. Curtis Blake & Rev. Fred Fangio officiating. Burial will follow in Restland Cemetery at Roxton. The family will receive friends from 7 – 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Jimmy, the son of James Creed & Betty Jo Winn Thoms, was born June 29, 1971, in Paris. He graduated from Roxton High School in 1990 and was a member of First Baptist Church of Roxton. He was preceded in death by his father, Creed Thoms in 2008, and grandmothers, Jessie Winn in 1987 and Nora Thoms in 1984. Survivors include his mother, Betty Thoms, of Paris along with other extended family members and a host of friends. Casket bearers will be: Tony Foreman, Jeff Nichols, Jason Maness, Justin Maness, Tommy Stailey and Tim Woods. |
