THE PARIS NEWS, Jan 15, 2013: “David E. Billings, 84, of Plano, passed away Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, in Dallas. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 16, at Restland Cemetery in Roxton. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 16, at Grace Presbyterian Church in Plano. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen. David was born Nov. 4, 1928, in Roxton, to Mervin Ralph and Lula (Locke) Billings. He married Nadja Klimoff on June 3, 1952, in Frankford, Germany. David proudly served as a master sergeant in the Army Security Agency of the U. S. Army. He was a real estate broker and a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Plano. He was preceded in death by brothers, Raymond and M. R.; and sisters, Joy and Gwen. He is survived by his wife, Nadja Billings of Plano; son, Ron Billings of Plano; daughter, Anne Danielson and husband, Rodney, also of Plano; grandchildren, Michael Danielson and wife, Kellen of Austin, Phillip Danielson and wife, Jessica, of McKinney and their daughter, Olivia Danielson, Chelsea Danielson (known to her grandfather as C. B.) of Hyderabad, India, Ginnie Billings of Garland, Chris Billings of Plano, and Matt Billings of Plano and siblings, Kenneth, Shirley, and Patsy.
