THE PARIS NEWS, Thursday, September 17, 2015: “Mrs. Betty J. Ingram, 92 of Roxton, passed away on Monday, Sept. 14, 2015, in Paris. Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday in the Restland Cemetery in Roxton, with the Rev. Billy Norris and the Rev. Kerry Adamek officiating. She was born on Aug. 6, 1923, in Hood River, Oregon, a daughter of George ‘Red’ and Esther Carlton. Betty was retired personnel manager for Hollywood Vassarette and a member of First Baptist Church in Roxton. On April 3, 1943, in Seattle, she married Lewis E. ‘Ben’ Ingram Jr. He preceded her in death on Feb. 12, 2006. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and two sisters. Mrs. Ingram is survived by children, Craig Ingram and wife Sandra, of Talco, Tanna Stevenson and husband Larry, of Tyler, and Ronald Ingram and wife Linda, of Roxton; grandchildren, Nicole Drake and Jeff, Traci Watkins and Harold, Chad Ingram and Tamara, Brad Ingram and Dana, Staci Christian and Terry, Angi Cox, and Morgan Privett and Chad; great-grandchildren, Kirra, Kohl, and Kaeli Drake, Katlyn Watkins, Korbin Hamner, Brady Ingram, Paul Ingram, Breanna Harvey, Leland Harvey, Blake Privett and Easton Merick; and two nieces and a nephew. The Ingram family wishes to express gratitude to a special caregiver, Lindsay Edwards.”
