THE PARIS NEWS, Mar. 14, 2010: “BROKEN BOW, Okla., Charles ‘C. W.’ Buck, 68, of Paris, formerly of Broken Bow, died Friday, March 12, 2010, at Dubois Hospital in Paris. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Sunday, March 14, at Brumley Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Bow. Interment follows in Broken Bow Cemetery with Bro. Paul Puckett officiating. He was born April 14, 1941, in Wright City, Okla., the son of Lloyd and Johnnie Young Buck. He was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, building racecars, watching NASCAR and raising fish and dogs. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Nona Lord. He is survived by his children, Lloyd Buck and wife, Twala, of Paris, Wendy Harrison and husband, Tad, of Hochatown, Okla., and Charles Buck and wife, Alice, of Holly Creek, Okla.; two sisters, Katherine Stevens of Broken Bow and Glenda Price of Cartwright, Okla.; nine grandchildren, Brandon Buck and wife, Becky, Brittany Buck, Payton Buck, Harley Adams, Joshua Buck, Kyle Buck, Joe Buck, Brittany Harrison and Sierra Harrison; two great-grandchildren, Cambrien Buck and Trinity Buck; the mother of his children, Lou Emma Buck of Lufkin; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.”
