THE PARIS NEWS, Sunday, May 29, 1960, p. 6: “MRS. J. L. BAGLEY. Funeral services for Mrs. J. L. Bagley, 717-23rd SE, who died Saturday at 4:15 p.m. in the Sanitarium of Paris, are set for Monday at 4:30 p.m. in the Lamar Avenue Church of Christ. Mrs. Bagley, wife of the late J. L. Bagley who died in 1939, was born February 26, 1891, in Fulbright. Her parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Gullion. She is survived by one daughter, Miss Irene Bagley of Dallas; three brothers, Jim Gullion of Clarksville, Ed Gullion of Wayne, Oklahoma, and Roy Gullion of Dallas; three sisters, Mrs. L. L. Boton of Clarksville, Mrs. Essie Chesshir of Bogata, and Mrs. Clarence Gresham of Corpus Christi. Gene Roden & Sons Funeral Home have charge of services and Elmer L’Roy, minister of the Lamar Avenue Church of Christ were she was a member, will officiate. Interment will be made in Fulbright.”

THE PARIS NEWS, Tuesday, May 31, 1960, p. 3: “Bagley Rites. Last rites for Mrs. J. L. Bagley, 717-23rd SE, who died Saturday were held Monday at Lamar Avenue Church of Christ, Gene Roden & Sons making burial at Fulbright. Bearers were Arthur Cawthon, Ed Castleberry, Dr. W. L. Kelley, Roy Kennemer, Ed Herrman, Dr. Harold Hunt, Ward Cox and Dickson House.”

BOGATA TRIBUNE, Thursday 2 Jun 1960, from microfilm in the Clarksville Library, Reel 2002-2: “MRS. J. L. BAGLEY BURIED MONDAY -- Funeral services for Mrs. J. L. Bagley, Paris, who died Saturday, May 28, at 4:30 p.m. in a Paris hospital, were held Monday at 4:30 p.m. in Lamar Ave. Church of Christ, Paris. Mrs. Bagley, wife of the late J. L. Bagley, who died in 1939, was born February 26, 1891, in Fulbright. Her parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Gullion. Survivors include one daughter, Miss Irene Bagley, of Dallas; three brothers, Jim Gullion of Clarksville, Ed Gullion of Wayne, Oklahoma, and Roy Gullion of Dallas; three sisters, Mrs. L. L. Boton of Clarksville, Mrs. Essie Chesshir of Bogata, and Mrs. Clarence Gresham of Corpus Christi. Interment was in Fulbright.”
