| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Friday, Feb. 9, 2018, page A3: “Opal Doris Brockway, 86 of Sumner, passed away Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018, at Medical City, of Plano following an automobile accident. Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled graveside services for 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 10, at Hopewell Cemetery with Bro. Jimmie Stripland and Bro. Jessie Stripland officiating. A formal visitation is not scheduled; however, friends and family may pay respects at the funeral home. Mrs. Brockway, the daughter of Robert and Dixie Jordan Stripland, was born April 9, 1931, in Howland, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Brockway; and a daughter, Becky Inman. Survivors include three children, Mike St. Clair and wife, Judy, of Hurst, Judy Green and husband, Ricky, of Sumner, and Robby Brockway and wife, Darlia, of Sumner; along with numerous, grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and a host, of friends.
