THE PARIS NEWS, May 13, 2011: “COOPER - Doris Brown, 66, of Paris, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2011, surrounded by family at her residence. Funeral services are planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, May 14, at Palestine Baptist Church, 15024 FR 906 in Paris. The family receives friends from noon until 5 p.m. today at Peaceful Rest Funeral Home Chapel, 1011 W. Dallas Ave. in Cooper. She was preceded in death by both parents, Sam and Jearlean Sanders; one son, Tyrone Brown; and two sisters, Gwenth Williams and Shelia Cooper. She leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband, Johnny Brown Sr., of Paris; a son, Johnny Brown Jr. of Dallas; four daughters, Tanjukia Brown, Lawakia Brown, Kheretentha Brown and Ronda Hearne, all of Paris; a brother, Sammy Sanders, of Oklahoma City; six sisters, Alice Morgan, of Lewisville, Linda Morgan, Casey Sanders, Mary Johnson, Sharon McCuin and Shekietha Sanders, all of Paris; and 12 grandchildren. Services entrusted to Peaceful Rest Funeral Home www.peacefulrestfuneralhome.com.”
