| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, January 11, 2014: “Robert Bills Sr., 82 of Paris, died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014, at Paris Regional Medical Center. Maxey Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday at Palestine Baptist Church with the Rev. Harold Washington officiating. The son of the late Jessie Bills Sr. and the late Luvenia Lewis Bills, he was born July 8, 1931, in Lamar County. He is survived by five sons, Glynis Bills and wife, Nita, of Oklahoma City, Larry Bills and wife, Janet, of Paris, Ivan Bills and wife, Joyce, of Chesapeake, Va., Robert Bills Jr. of Dallas and Michael Bills of Dallas; four daughters, Joyce Rodgers and husband, Charles, of Texarkana, Linda Jones and husband, Leon, of Anna, Felessa Booker and husband, Terry, of Paris and Charolette Mitchell and husband, Ricky, of Paris; a brother, Charles Bills of Paris; a sister, Dora Griffis of Paris; 19 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.” On same stone as Ada Lee Bills. |
